Our Story
It all began one day after Dani's birthday when we first met. I was 21 and he was 24, we were happy, free, confused, and lonely at the same time. The way we crossed paths—unexpected, serendipitous, like fate had aligned our worlds.
Later Dani invited me on a trip to Bamberg with his friends, and from there, something magical started to brew. In Bamberg, as we wandered the cobblestone streets and explored the historic town, our conversations felt endless. Everything was light, easy. We were strangers, yet we clicked as if we'd known each other forever. It was a Begin Again moment—the start of something we both didn’t see coming.
Soon after that trip, we spent more and more time together, falling into a rhythm that felt just right. We lived just one bus stop away from each other, and it was perfect. “Stay, Stay, Stay” played in the back of my mind every time we’d cook together in my cozy kitchens, experimenting with recipes and laughing at failed attempts. Those evenings were simple, yet filled with warmth, like our love was growing quietly, with each meal we shared. "You belong with me", he’d tease, but we both knew there was something more in the air.
Then life happened, as it often does, and he had to move to Munich for work. Suddenly, we were in a weekend relationship. Weekends were filled with excitement—two days packed with love, laughter, and longing before he’d leave again. During the long weekdays, I’d find myself wishing, “I wish you would come back.”
The distance was hard, but we made it through, both knowing this love was worth the wait. One year later, just when it felt like I couldn't take the distance anymore, he did something bold—he moved back to Regensburg. He came back for me. It was the grand gesture I didn’t expect, but deep down, I knew it was what we both wanted all along.
"You are the best thing that’s ever been mine.”
Our days together felt like endless Daylight. We were finally living close again, and it felt as though we had conquered the world just to be with each other. But soon, Munich called both of our names again. This time, however, we made the move together, hand in hand, ready to take on the city.
In Munich, it felt like a New Year’s Day—a fresh start, a new chapter in our love story. No more distance, no more longing. Just us, continuing this beautiful, imperfect, and ever-evolving love. We weren’t sure what the future would hold, but we knew one thing—we would face it together.
I could build a castle out of all the bricks they threw at me, but I’d rather build it with you. So we did.
